  • Any known absences must be communicated before the beginning of the training.

  • If an attendee must be absent due to extenuating circumstances such as illness or death in the family. Absence must be communicated as soon as possible.

  • Absences beyond the allowable limit may require make-up work, additional assignments, or private sessions, which may incur additional fees.

  • Excessive absences may result in ineligibility for certification, at the discretion of the training faculty.

Participation Expectations

Participation includes:

  • Active engagement in lectures, discussions, and group work

  • Participation in asana, pranayama, meditation, and experiential practices (with appropriate modifications)

Teaching practicums are a core component of the training and are required for certification.

  • All scheduled practicums must be attended in full.

  • If a trainee misses an essential practicum, they may complete the requirement during the designated Make-Up Weekend.

  • The Make-Up Weekend is scheduled in advance of the training start date and is the only guaranteed opportunity to make up missed practicum requirements.

  • Participation in the Make-Up Weekend is subject to an additional fee, which will be communicated in advance and must be paid prior to attendance.

  • Failure to attend either the original practicum or the Make-Up Weekend may result in ineligibility for certification.

  • Additional private make-ups or alternative arrangements are not guaranteed, are subject to faculty discretion, and may involve additional fees.
