1. Attendance & Participation Policy
The 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is an immersive and experiential program. Consistent attendance and engaged participation are essential to the integrity of the training and to meeting certification requirements.
Attendance Requirements
Trainees are required to attend a minimum of 90% of all scheduled training hours.
Any known absences must be communicated before the beginning of the training.
If an attendee must be absent due to extenuating circumstances such as illness or death in the family. Absence must be communicated as soon as possible.
Absences beyond the allowable limit may require make-up work, additional assignments, or private sessions, which may incur additional fees.
Excessive absences may result in ineligibility for certification, at the discretion of the training faculty.
Participation Expectations
Participation includes:
Active engagement in lectures, discussions, and group work
Participation in asana, pranayama, meditation, and experiential practices (with appropriate modifications)
Completion of all required readings, journaling, reflections, and homework
Respectful presence during peer teaching, practicums, and feedback sessions
This training values presence, curiosity, and integrity over physical performance or mastery.
2. Practicum Attendance & Make-Up Policy
Teaching practicums are a core component of the training and are required for certification.
All scheduled practicums must be attended in full.
If a trainee misses an essential practicum, they may complete the requirement during the designated Make-Up Weekend.
The Make-Up Weekend is scheduled in advance of the training start date and is the only guaranteed opportunity to make up missed practicum requirements.
Participation in the Make-Up Weekend is subject to an additional fee, which will be communicated in advance and must be paid prior to attendance.
Failure to attend either the original practicum or the Make-Up Weekend may result in ineligibility for certification.
Additional private make-ups or alternative arrangements are not guaranteed, are subject to faculty discretion, and may involve additional fees.
